Sales Representative – Fab Metal LLC

Fab Metal is a growing fabrication and machining company serving clients across Tennessee and the surrounding region. We specialize in custom fabrication, CNC machining, and industrial production services for companies that expect precision and reliability.
We’re looking for a Sales Representative who knows how to build lasting relationships, understands the importance of follow-through, and takes pride in helping customers find real solutions. This isn’t a cold-call, quick-hit type of sales job, it’s developing trust, learning what our customers need, and making sure the work we deliver reflects that.
You’ll be responsible for growing new business and maintaining current accounts, working closely with our production team to quote jobs, managing timelines, and communicating clearly from start to finish. The right person can read a situation, adapt to the client, and stay organized under pressure. You should be comfortable walking into a shop, a construction site, or a boardroom and representing Fab Metal with professionalism and confidence.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
- Manage quoting, follow-ups, and order accuracy with attention to detail
- Identify new leads through local networking, referrals, and outreach
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure expectations, pricing, and delivery stay aligned
- Track customer activity and performance metrics for reporting
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales, account management, or customer service (manufacturing or industrial background preferred)
- Solid communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
- Confidence working independently while staying aligned with team goals
- A dependable work ethic, professional attitude, and reliability.
- Knowing fabrication and machining terminology is a plus, but the ability to learn quickly is just as important.
Pay Options:
- Commission Only: 2% – 5% of net profit based on project type and margin.
- Commission is paid on gross sales, not net. (High earning potential for motivated individuals who can build and maintain strong relationships.)
